How to Fit Your Architrave

1. Cut to Size

   • Each length is designed to repeat seamlessly, so you can join pieces together to achieve the exact length you need.

   • Measure carefully and cut where required.

2. Prepare

   • We recommend priming your lengths and applying the first coat of paint before fitting.

   • If you’ve chosen our pre-painted collection, you can skip this step.

3. Fix in Place

   • Apply wood glue along the back of the architrave.

   • Press firmly against the wall or frame.

   • For added security, especially with our larger style like Willa and particularly when creating a pelmet, use slim finishing nails to hold it securely in place.

4. Finish the Joins

   • Cover joins with wood filler if desired (this step is optional).

   • Lightly sand for a smooth finish.

5. Final Coat

   • Apply your top coat of paint.

   • If you’ve chosen our pre-painted trims, you’ll receive a small pot of matching paint to touch up the filler and blend the join seamlessly.
