    Inspired by Traditional Scandinavian painted styles, designed by Camilla and created for her by Mural Artist Katinka Stampa Orwin, Miami Swirl celebrates simple elegant charm. 

    Our handmade scalloped trim is crafted from high-quality moisture resistant MDF  (Medium Density Fiberboard), handcrafted in our Wiltshire workshop. 

    This trim has been hand painted and varnished using a matte varnish to protect the paint work. Both the length and painted design repeats perfectly from one to the next to create any measurement you require. 

    Miami is a medium sized trim, created as the perfect size for scalloped architraves around the top of a room, or scalloped moldings around door frames. They are just large enough to have presence, but not so big that they take over. 

    This painted scalloped architrave is designed to be extremely versatile and fit into any interior design from contemporary to period property.

    Traditional Scandinavian painted style is rich in folklore, craft, and understated beauty. Rooted in rural 18th and 19th-century Sweden and Norway, this painterly tradition features hand-decorated furniture and wall treatments using soft distemper paints in earthy tones—ochres, iron reds, chalky blues, and muted greens. Stylised floral motifs, rosemåling (decorative painting), and faux finishes like marble and wood graining reflect a creative spirit born from modest means and long winters. Incorporating this style into interiors brings a soulful, artisanal warmth—where every brushstroke tells a story of heritage, nature, and time-worn grace.

    By using more muted blues and greens this beautiful trim is extremely versatile and will slot into any interiors scheme.
